Why should I register with Dance Wear International?

Registering is free and ensures that your shipping and billing address is saved for future purchases. You are also able to retrieve previous order history and we will keep you updated on important information relating to your current orders.

Do I have to register to shop online?

No, you can checkout online as a Guest to save time and for your convenience.

What if my account information changes?

Just sign in with your username and password, and follow the instructions to update your account information, including your personal information, billing and shipping addresses at any time.

I have forgotten my password?

Go to our Forgot Password Page and follow the instructions.


What if an item is unavailable?

We will notify you by email if an item in your initial order is unavailable or on back order. It is unlikely that an item would be unavailable as our website has full inventory tracking capability and items that are unavailable will be displayed as such or as Pre-order.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation?

Please check your spam folder in the first instance. Our email may have been quarantined in your spam or junk folder by mistake. If you have not received your order confirmation within 24 hours from order placement, please contact us immediately.

I received my order but there is missing items?

Please confirm on your order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails that the item was ordered and shipped. If an item is delayed, it should be stated on one or both of these emails. You can also verify on your shipping confirmation email if several packages are shipping. If you don’t see that the item has a separate shipping date, please contact us immediately.



Do you have size charts?

The size charts can be found on each product page on the Size Chart tab. Sizing and cut will vary between brands, therefore please use our size charts as a general guide and consider carefully. If you are between sizes and need assistance selecting a size, please see the product reviews located on each style as further guidance or contact us. To determine sizing for shoes, please refer to each specific product detail page. Each shoe has its own sizing and fitting suggestions.



How do I care for my new dancewear?

We all love fabric softener but dancewear does not and may damage your new dancewear! We recommend that you machine wash delicate or hand wash cool, remove promptly and hang to dry. We highly recommend using light detergent and hand washing for greater longevity. Do NOT dry your leotards or other dancewear in the dryer as the heat will damage the material.



When will my order be shipped?

Most orders for in-stock items will ship within 1-2 business days of order receipt. Please note that Pre-order items are a special order from the supplier and therefore shipping times will vary. 

How will my product be shipped?

We post all parcels Regular Post via Australia Post unless an express option is selected and paid for at checkout. Once your order has been posted you will receive an email notifying you that your order is on its way. 

How long does delivery take within Australia via Regular Post?

Regular post deliveries are normally received in 5 business days depending on where the package is being delivered in Australia. Please note that orders going to W.A. and New Zealand can take up to 12 days so please allow for this if you are ordering for a special occasion. 

What are the shipping rates?

We ship all retail orders that fit within a 500-1000 gram satchel FREE of charge on Regular Post within Australia. Shipping costs for all other shipping locations are calculated at checkout based on the type of shipping option selected.

Can I cancel my order after processing?

Please contact us immediately if you wish to cancel or change your online order. If the order has not been released for processing, we may be able to cancel or change it.



What is your returns policy?

What items cannot be returned?

The following items may NOT be returned: undergarments, tights, make-up, hair and foot care items (including toe pads), discontinued items, and clearance items.

Where do I send my return/ exchange?

Please login to your account to complete the Return Request Form and upon completion of the form, a return address, Return Authorization Number and packaging details will be provided.



Can I pickup locally on Gold Coast?
