Exchanges and Returns




We aim to ensure that our products are of the highest quality prior to dispatch and that we have provided you with enough information to purchase garments most suited to your requirement, however we understand that occasionally some things are unforeseen and don't go as planned.

On this basis, our returns policy provides you with assurance as required by Australian Consumer Law.

Where products are proven to be faulty (excluding items damaged in transit) Dance Wear International will exchange the faulty item for the same product or provide a full refund (including postage).

There are terms and conditions that apply to all returns and it is important that these are adhered to otherwise Dance Wear International reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for returned items.

Return postage charges are at the customer's expense unless the goods are proven to be faulty.
The following items are unable to be returned due to health regulations: undergarments, tights, make-up, hair and foot care items (including toe pads).
Differences in colour from the photos displayed on the website shall not be deemed as a fault due to variations that may arise in material batches, flash photography, and computer monitor settings. We do take all care to ensure garment colours appear as accurately as possible.
The items must not have been worn and shall be returned in original packaging with all tags attached including a copy of the tax invoice.
We reserve the right to inspect returned goods upon arrival at our warehouse to ensure that all terms and conditions have been met. If there is evidence of the product being worn or tags are removed your return will not be accepted.

Further return shipping costs for exchange items due to incorrect size selection will be at customers expense.
Goods must be returned within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date.
Discontinued and clearance items are not included in the return policy.
We are unable to accept responsibility for goods lost in transit.



Before returning an item you need to complete a Return Request Form.

To complete a Return Request Form please:
1. Log into your account by clicking here
2. Select Completed Orders
3. Press the Return Item button for the corresponding item and complete the form
4. We will review your Return Request and reply quickly advising the next steps.
5. After we have contacted you and provided you with your return authorisation (RA), place your unworn item in the original packaging and post back to us.
6. We strongly recommend you use a Trackable postage method in case your return package is lost in the mail.
